金融庁は、反社会的勢力向けの融資を放置していた問題で、みずほ銀行に対して一部業務停止命令を発動する方針を固めた。複数の関係筋が２５日、明らかにした。経営管理体制を見直す必要があるとして、みずほ銀行と持株会社のみずほフィナンシャルグループ
一部業務停止命令では、反社向け融資にかかわった提携ローン業務を１カ月停止させる方針だ。みずほ銀行は９月、１度目の行政処分を受けており、短期間で追加処分が出るのは異例となる。
金融庁は、取締役会などに問題融資に関連した資料の提出があったにもかかわらず抜本的な対策に乗り出さなかったことや、金融庁に誤った報告をしたことを重く見て、再発防止に向けてみずほ銀行とみずほＦＧに経営管理体制の見直しも命じる。
金融庁検査でみずほ銀は当初、問題融資の情報が担当役員止まりと報告していたが、金融庁が９月、問題融資の放置を踏まえて業務改善命令を出した後、実際には関連資料が取締役会などにも提出されていたことが明らかになった。
当初の処分の前提となった事実関係が覆ったことから、金融庁は１１月５日以降、みずほ銀行とみずほＦＧに重ねて報告を求めた上で、検査に入っている。［東京 ２５日 ロイター］
