アウンサンスーチー氏、前与党党首と連携の意向【ミャンマー政局混乱】

ミャンマー最大野党の国民民主連盟(NLD)を率いるアウン・サン・スー・チー党首は18日、与党・連邦団結発展党(USDP)の党首を突然解任されたシュエ・マン氏と連携する意向を示した。

ミャンマー最大野党の国民民主連盟(NLD)を率いるアウン・サン・スー・チー党首は18日、与党・連邦団結発展党(USDP)の党首を突然解任されたシュエ・マン氏と連携する意向を示した。同国の民政移行後最大の政局混乱のなか、11月の総選挙をにらみ国内政治勢力に再編の動きが出てきた。

スー・チー氏は解任について記者団に問われ、「いまや誰が敵で、誰が協力者かが明白になった」と答えた。ただ、どのように協力するかは明言しなかった。シュエ・マン氏はUSDP党首としてスー・チー氏との協力を模索してきた。それがテイン・セイン大統領らとの対立を深めることになり、先週の解任劇につながったとみられる。

シュエ・マン氏は18日の国会演説で、国内を分断したとの見方を否定し、「私は党の統一性や安定性を乱していない」と主張した。

スー・チー氏は、与党内の混乱は自ら率いるNLDの追い風となり、総選挙での得票が増えるとの見通しを示した。

すでにNLDは11月の選挙で最大議席を獲得するとみられており、ミャンマーの民主化に向けた重要な試金石となる。

シュエ・マン氏は現在も下院議長の職にあるが、18日に始まった総選挙前の最後の国会会期で、有権者が国会議員をリコールするための法案が提出される見通し。成立すれば同氏の弾劾につながる可能性もある。[ネピドー 18日 ロイター]
