原発上空、米軍機は飛ぶな 愛媛県、禁止の法制化求める

再稼働に向けて審査が進む四国電力伊方原発。飛行制限されたその上空付近を飛ぶ米軍機が目撃されているが、地元では同原発近くで25年前に起きた米軍ヘリ墜落事故の記憶が消えない…

原発上空、米軍機は飛ぶな 愛媛県、禁止の法制化求める

電力各社が再稼働を申請した原発12基のうち、伊方3号機が最も早く審査が進んでいるとみられる。愛媛県の中村時広知事は9日、定例会見で米軍に注文をつけた。

「原発上空の飛行は当然危険性が高い。守るべきルールを守ってほしい」

沖縄県の米軍基地キャンプ・ハンセン(宜野座村など)で5日、嘉手納基地所属のヘリが墜落し、懸念を表明。以前から国に原発上空の飛行禁止の法制化を求めてきたが、さらに強く要望する考えを示した。

中村知事は「県民の安全に重要な問題だ。法制化は日本の声を強めるきっかけになる」。

四国上空は、普天間飛行場(沖縄)と岩国基地(山口)の間に位置し、また、「オレンジルート」と呼ばれる米軍の飛行訓練コースの一部にもなっている。愛媛県内では今年3月以降、「欠陥機」との指摘もある新型輸送機オスプレイも相次いで目撃されてきた。

国は通達などで原発上空の飛行を制限しており、1999年の日米政府の合意で、米軍機についても「原子力エネルギー施設や民間空港などの場所を回避する」としている。

だが、合意は守られてこなかった。
