ペルー大統領選、開票率98.7%でも勝敗不明の大接戦

開票率が97.9%まで進んでも当選確実が出ない大接戦が続いている。

南米ペルーの大統領選挙の決選投票は、開票率が98.7%まで進んでも当選確実が出ない大接戦が続いている。アルベルト・フジモリ元大統領の長女ケイコ・フジモリ氏(41)と、ペドロ・クチンスキー元首相(77)との一騎打ちとなった決選投票の得票率は、選挙管理当局による開票率98.7%の時点でクチンスキー氏50.17%、ケイコ・フジモリ氏49.83%と、2人の差は0.34%、5万7000票差となっている。NHKなどが報じた。

ペルー国内の投票集計はほぼ終わったため、今後は世界各地の領事館に集まっている在外投票の行方に注目が集まる。産経ニュースによると、クチンスキ氏はリマ市内で「公式結果を待たなければならない。在外票が残っている」と述べた。ケイコ氏も「私たちは慎重に待ちます」と語っている。

ケイコ氏は、1990年から10年にわたって大統領を務めたアルベルト・フジモリ氏を父に持つ日系3世。父の現職時代には、離婚した母に代わり19歳からファーストレディー役を務め、一緒に各地を回った。現在は最大野党フエルサ・ポプラルの党首で、ウマラ現大統領に決選投票で敗れた2011年に続き、2度目の出馬となる。

CNNによると、クチンスキー氏は世界銀行でエコノミストを務め、ペルーでは財務相やエネルギー相を歴任。ケイコ・フジモリ氏が、人権侵害罪で禁錮25年の刑に服している父親と同様に強権的な政治を行う恐れがあることをアピールし、「反フジモリ」票を取り込んできた。
