写真は4月、ノーフォークにあるアンマーホール別邸でキャサリン妃が撮影した。
2017年5月2日で2歳になるシャーロット王女は、羊柄があしらわれた黄色いニットのカーディガンを着ている。
イギリス王室は、「ウィリアム王子夫妻は、素敵なメッセージを送ってくださったみなさんに感謝しております。また、シャーロット王女の写真を自分たちと同じようにみなさんに見て楽しんでもらえることを願っています」と声明を発表した

王子夫妻は1年前、シャーロット王女が1歳を迎えた誕生日に写真を公開。夫妻は今回も、キャサリン妃が撮影した王女の新しい写真を王室ファンにプレゼントした。

シャーロット王女は昨年、ほとんど人前に出ることはなかった。これまではクリスマスにバークシャー州バックルベリーにある祖父母のミドルトン夫妻宅の近くで、王子夫妻に連れられて礼拝に訪れる際に撮影された写真が最新のものだった。

イギリスのPA通信社によると、今夏にはウィリアム王子が救急ヘリパイロットの仕事を辞めて王室の仕事に専念する。それ以降、ウィリアム王子一家はロンドンのケンジントン宮殿で、これまで以上に多くの時間を過ごすようになるという。
ジョージ王子は9月から私立のトーマス・バタシー校に通う予定。また妹のシャーロット王女は2017年後半から保育園に通うことになりそうだ。
