女優の高島礼子さん（52）は8月1日、覚せい剤取締法違反（使用、所持）の罪で起訴された夫で元俳優の高知東生被告（51）との離婚届を提出したことを、所属事務所を通じて発表した。日刊スポーツなどが報じた。全文は次の通り。
「弊社所属の高島礼子より、離婚届を提出したとの連絡がありましたので、皆様にご報告いたします。この選択をご理解いただき、今後とも温かく見守ってくださいますようお願い申し上げます。皆様にはこのたびの件では、ご心配をおかけし、お騒がせいたしましたことを心よりおわび申し上げます」

2人は1999年に結婚。高知被告は6月、覚醒剤約4グラムと大麻約2グラムを所持していたとして現行犯逮捕され、その後、起訴。7月29日に勾留先の警視庁東京湾岸署から保釈された。
高島さんは30日に京都での主演ドラマの撮影を終えて東京に戻り、高知被告から届いていた署名・押印済みの離婚届を提出した。
