北大西洋条約機構（ＮＡＴＯ）軍の当局者は１４日、ロシア軍がウクライナとの国境付近で部隊を再び増強し、１万─１万２０００人規模を現在集結させていると明らかにした。
ロシアはこれまで、国境沿いに配置していた４万人の部隊のほとんどに撤収を指示していたため、部隊の総数は６月半ばまでに１０００人未満に減っていた。
ＮＡＴＯ当局者は、「われわれの現在の推定では国境地帯に１万─１万２０００人の部隊がいる。ここ１週間だけでも、複数の部隊が国境地域に向かって動いているのをわれわれは目撃した」と述べた。［ブリュッセル １４日 ロイター］
