ブラジルのサンパウロでバイク強盗が警官に銃撃される動画がYouTubeにアップされた(現在は削除)。9月29日にニューヨークでバイク集団に包囲された乗用車がバイクをなぎ倒し、バイク集団が逃げた乗用車を猛追して襲撃する顛末を、バイクのヘルメットに搭載したカメラに撮影された動画がネット上にアップされて騒然となったばかり。動画は海外の動画サイト「Live Leak」などで見られる。

IBタイムスUS版によると、バイクに乗った男性、ヘルメットに搭載していたカメラをオンにしたまま走っていた。赤信号で止まると、二人乗りのバイク強盗が前方に現れ、後ろに乗っていた男が銃を突きつけた。男はバイクを奪い取り逃走しようとしたが、その場に居合わせた警官が男に2発発砲。男はその場に倒れこんだ。救急車が到着するまでの間、犯人の男を放置したまま、被害にあった男性や警官が携帯電話で連絡をとっているところをカメラは撮影し続けている。

イギリスのインディペンデント紙電子版によると、この動画を見たネット上の反応として、間髪入れず犯人を銃撃する警官への疑問の声、または2014年に行われるブラジルワールドカップに治安上の不安を口にするユーザーもいるという。
