女子レスリングの吉田沙保里選手がニンテンドー3DS用ソフト「ポケットモンスター サン・ムーン」のCMで、セットを壊すハプニングがあった。時事ドットコムが1月25日に報じたCMメイキング映像で明らかになった。
このCMは31日から放送されるもので、「モンスターボール」を手にした吉田選手が登場。「しれんサポーターのサオリがしょうぶをしかけてきた」 とゲーム中と同じように表示され、続いて「私を倒そうなんて度胸あるじゃない」「私が鍛え上げたポケモンとバトルしてみる？」と、視聴者に挑戦状をたたきつける……という内容だった。
CMで吉田選手は「カイリキー」というポケモンにお姫様抱っこをされて登場するシーンの撮影中、力を加え過ぎたせいでセットを壊してしまった。吉田選手は申し訳なさそうな表情で、「壊しちゃった…ごめんなさい」とスタッフに謝ることしきりだったという。
