［東京 １５日 ロイター］ - 防衛省統合幕僚監部は１５日、領空侵犯の恐れがある外国機に対する自衛隊機の緊急発進（スクランブル）が、２０１４年度は過去２番目に多い９４３回だったと発表した。
最も多かったのはロシア機で４７３回。中国機が４６４回と続いた。中国機へのスクランブル回数は、データが比較できる０１年度以降で最多となった。ロシアは情報収集機、中国は戦闘機が目立ったという。
これまでの最多は、旧ソ連軍の動きが活発だった冷戦期の１９８４年度で９４４回。１４年度はほぼこれに並んだ。
