柳沢敦、今季限りで引退 元サッカー日本代表、「QBK」も話題に【画像集】

サッカー元日本代表FWでJ1のベガルタ仙台に所属する柳沢敦選手(37)が、今シーズンかぎりで現役を引退することになった。

サッカー元日本代表FWでJ1のベガルタ仙台に所属する柳沢敦(37)が、今シーズンかぎりで現役を引退することになった。仙台が12月4日発表した。

柳沢は、仙台のサイト上で次のようにコメントしている。

今シーズンをもって現役を引退することを決断いたしました。

長きに渡って自分を支えてくれた多くの方々に心から感謝しています。

まだ最終節の試合が残っていますので、最後までプロとして全力でやり切りたいと思っています。

柳沢は富山県出身で、富山第一高から1996年にJリーグ鹿島に入った。日本代表として58試合で17得点し、2002年日韓、06年ドイツのワールドカップにも出場した。

ドイツ大会ではクロアチア戦で決定的なゴールチャンスを外し、柳沢は試合後に「急にボールが来たので……」と発言。この言葉は「QBK」と略され、当時ネット上などで話題となった。

Jリーグでは鹿島アントラーズ、京都サンガ、仙台でプレーし、合計108得点。イタリア・セリエAでも2003〜04年シーズンから3季プレーした。

スポニチは次の通り報じている。

今年11月2日に行われたG大阪戦(万博)では今季初ゴールを決めて17年連続ゴールをマークし、自らが持つJリーグ歴代1位記録を更新した。(中略)

「ヤナギ」の愛称で親しまれ、私生活では03年にモデルの小畑由香里(35)と結婚。10年5月に誕生した長男、12年12月に誕生した長女と2人の子どもにも恵まれている。

3日には、鹿島時代の同僚でもある元日本代表DF中田浩二(35)も今季限りでの現役引退を発表したばかりだった。
