俳優の染谷将太（22）と菊地凛子（33）の結婚が発表された。
染谷が公式ホームページに1月1日未明、2人の直筆署名入りの画像をアップロードした。「これからは家族としてお互いを支え合いながら強い信念を持ち作品を残していきたいと思います。そして周りの方々も幸せにできるような家庭を2人で築きあげていきたいと思います」とつづっている。
染谷は2011年のベネチア国際映画祭で、映画「ヒミズ」でマルチェロ・マストロヤンニ賞（最優秀新人賞）を受賞。菊地は2006年の映画「バベル」でアカデミー助演女優賞などにノミネートされて話題となった。2人は2014年11月に女性週刊誌で熱愛が報じられていた。
