サッカー日韓戦 韓国側観客席に安重根の肖像や横断幕

ソウルで28日夜開かれたサッカー東アジア杯の日韓戦で、韓国側の観客席に、初代の韓国統監だった伊藤博文を暗殺した安重根(アンジュングン)の肖像の巨大な幕や、韓国語で「歴史を忘れる民族に未来はない」とする横断幕が掲げられた。歴史認識をめぐって日韓関係がぎくしゃくする中だけに、波紋を呼ぶ可能性がある。

安重根の幕は、16世紀の豊臣秀吉による文禄・慶長の役に対し、水軍を率いて戦った李舜臣(イスンシン)将軍の幕とともに試合開始前後に広げられた。いずれも韓国では日本の侵略に抗した英雄とされ、関係者によると、韓国で開かれる日韓戦では過去にも掲げられたことがあるという。 【ソウル=中野晃】
