韓国人歌手イ・スンチョルさん、日本入国を拒否される 竹島訪問を問題視か

韓国の聯合ニュースは、男性歌手イ・スンチョルさん(47)が9日に羽田空港で日本への入国を拒否された状態で留め置かれたと、所属事務所の話として報じた。

韓国の聯合ニュースは11月10日、男性歌手イ・スンチョルさん(47)が9日に羽田空港で日本への入国を拒否された状態で留め置かれたと、所属事務所の話として報じた。所属事務所は「8月に独島(島根県の竹島)で歌を発表したことへの報復とみられる」と反発していると説明しているという。47NEWSなどが報じた。

日本の入国管理局は共同通信に対し「個人のことなのでお話しできない」としている。

同ニュースによると、入管の担当者は拒否の理由について「最近報道されたことのため」とイさんに説明。イさんは8月、北朝鮮脱出住民(脱北者)らと共に竹島を訪れ、南北統一を願う歌を発表した。

韓国紙「中央日報」は、1996年に歌謡曲「独島はわが領土」で知られる歌手が入国を拒まれた事例があると紹介しているという。

また韓国紙朝鮮日報によると、イさんは光復節(日本の植民地支配からの解放を祝う日=8月15日)前日の2014年8月14日、脱北者青年合唱団40人と共に竹島で公演を行い、統一を祈る歌「その日に」を初めて歌ったという。さらに「朝鮮日報」は、「インターネットやソーシャル・ネットワーキング・サービス(SNS)上では、この問題で再び日本政府に対する非難が高まっている」と伝えている。
