ナチスの亡霊が、ドイツで議論の的になっている。
現地紙「ディ・ヴェルト」によると、ドイツ中部の町、イルムタールで開かれたお祭りに「ティーガーI」戦車が登場した。ティーガーは第二次大戦中にナチス・ドイツが開発した重戦車で、強力な56口径88mm砲を装備して連合軍を苦戦させたことで知られているが、もちろん本物ではない。パレードに登場した山車の一つだったが、車体に描かれた文字が問題になった。
車体の横には「イルムタールを難民から守る」「第3次難民法制」などと書かれていた。ドイツ政府は難民の流入を抑えるための法案を閣議決定したばかりで、第2次難民法制と呼ばれているが、これをもじった表現だった。
俳優で社会民主党の政治家、フロリアン・シムベックさんはティーガー戦車が自宅近くを通ったときに写真を撮影した。Facebookに投稿した上で、「人々は喜んで喝采を送っていたが、こんな物に同意できるのか？」と強く非難した。
「ディ・ヴェルト」によると、今回のパレードには約500人の観衆がいた。治安妨害の可能性があったものの芸術の自由を尊重する観点から、警官は戦車の通行を妨げなかったという。ハフポスト・ドイツ版は、今回の戦車について「これがドイツ中を怒らせた写真だ」と大きく報じている。
