チロルチョコ株式会社が掲載した新聞広告が「他社を寄せ付けない」「素敵すぎ！」と大きな反響を呼んでいる。
これは、6月9日付の経済紙「日経MJ」に掲載された全面広告だ。「チロルチョコの社長がかわりました‼」の文字が踊り、仮免許練習中のプレートとハンドルを持つ新社長の松尾裕二氏の隣で、前社長の松尾利彦氏が両目を手で覆っている。左端には「誠に勝手ながら本掲載をもってお取引先各位へのご案内に代えさせていただきます」と書かれている。
この型破りな広告がTwitterに投稿されて「素敵すぎ！」「うちの会社もこれくらい遊び心が欲しいな」と話題の的になった。
一粒10円で人気のチロルチョコは、もともと福岡県の松尾製菓株式会社の商品。1962年に「チロル」のブランド名で売り出してから、実に50年以上の歴史を持つロングセラーだ。2004年には企画・販売部門が独立して、都内にチロルチョコ株式会社が設立された。
チロルチョコ公式サイトでは、社長交代の広告を動画形式で掲載するともに、前社長の松尾利彦氏の著書「TIROL IS ROCK! チロルチョコはロックだ!」や、自身が歌っているとみられる「Midnight city」の動画を紹介している。
