2013年、東京開催決定から着々と準備の進むオリンピック。レピュコムでは2015年に4回の調査を実施。「オリンピック・パラリンピック」に対する関心や興味の推移を調査しました。
その結果、オリンピック、パラリンピックともに3月から6月に興味度が上がり、その後は横ばいで推移していました。
また、2016年のリオ・デ・ジャネイロ大会よりも、2020年東京大会への関心が高く、東京大会への関心は継続して高まっています。
オリンピックの競技別認知率や観戦意向度を調べると、日本が過去に金メダル獲得をした「柔道」「陸上」「レスリング」などの競技の認知が高くなっています。
その一方で観戦意向が高いのは、スポーツとして人気の高い「サッカー」「バレーボール」「野球・ソフトボール」でした。
