トランプ大統領への抗議デモ、警察と激しく衝突 ワシントンで200人以上逮捕(UPDATE)

ドナルド・トランプ氏が大統領就任した1月20日(日本時間21日)、アメリカの首都ワシントンの中心街で抗議デモが暴徒化する騒ぎがあった。ハフィントンポストUS版などが報じた。

ドナルド・トランプ氏が大統領就任した1月20日(日本時間21日)、アメリカの首都ワシントンの中心街で抗議デモが警官隊と激しく衝突した。

ハフィントンポストUS版によると、ワシントンD.C.では警察官2人が負傷し、200人を超える人々が逮捕された。

ロイターによると、黒い服を着て覆面をした約500人の集団がトランプ大統領の就任に抗議して、「MAKE RACIST AFRAID AGAIN(差別主義者を再び恐れさせる)」などと書かれた旗などを掲げて行進した。一部がスターバックスやマクドナルドなどの飲食店や銀行の窓ガラスを割ったり、車を破壊したりした。これに対して、警官が一部で催涙ガスを使い、衝突が起きたという。

また、NHKニュースによるとトランプ氏の就任式の会場となった連邦議会議事堂でも、手荷物の検査場で抗議者が座り込みをしたり、腕を組んで「人の鎖」を作るなど、混乱が起きていたという。
