爆発は人々が集まるなかで起こった。

トルコの首都アンカラの中心部で10月10日、2回の爆発が起きた。現地メディア・ドーガンによると、この爆発で少なくとも30人が死亡し、126人が負傷したという。

この日、現地ではNGOや労働組合が、政府に対して国内のクルド人武装組織「クルディスタン労働党」(PKK)に対する攻撃をやめるよう求めるデモを予定。爆発は人々が集まるなかで起こった。

トルコでは政府軍が7月下旬から、PKKの拠点を空爆。PKKは警察や軍への報復攻撃を繰り返していた。治安当局は自爆テロの可能性もあると見て調査している
