【ワールドカップ】日本敗戦も渋谷はハイタッチで大興奮(動画・画像)

サッカーのワールドカップブラジル大会で15日、日本は初戦となるコートジボワールと対戦し、1-2で逆転敗けした。試合終了後、東京・渋谷駅前のスクランブル交差点には続々とサポーターらが集まり、交差点上でハイタッチをするなど大混雑となった。

サッカーのワールドカップブラジル大会で15日、日本は初戦となるコートジボワールと対戦し、1-2で逆転敗けした。試合終了後、東京・渋谷駅前のスクランブル交差点には続々とサポーターらが集まり、交差点上でハイタッチをするなど大混雑となった。

この日のために警視庁は約800人の警察官を配置。信号が青になると同時に青いユニフォームを着た群衆が横断歩道ですれ違いざまにハイタッチを繰り返し、至るところで「ニッポン、ニッポン」と声援が飛び交った。警察官が「立ち止まらないでください」など注意を促す声もかき消されるほどの盛り上がりをみせた。

渋谷では、各所でパブリックビューイングが開催され、多くのサポーターが来街。マクドナルド渋谷東映プラザ店では、日本の本田圭佑選手が先制点を決めた際には歓喜に包まれたが、日本が劣勢に立たされると徐々に会場は重たい空気に。試合終了の笛と同時に大きなため息が上がったが、その後すぐに健闘した選手たちに熱い拍手が送られた。

日本が入るグループCは、各チーム1試合ずつ終わり、コロンビアとコートジボワールが勝ち点3で並び、得失点の差でコロンビアが首位。勝ち点を得られなかった日本は得失点の差で3位、次の試合で日本と対戦するギリシャが4位となっている。ギリシャ戦は20日、午前7時キックオフ。
