共和党がやっているのは、大統領に対する厳しい批判だけではありません。大統領が成し遂げたことをすべて取り消しにする恐れがあるのです。 Affordable Care Actを廃止しようとしています。実際に、共和党は50回以上も投票で同法の廃止や廃棄を求めてきました。労働者の権利や投票の権利を廃止しようと一生懸命なのです。女性からは自らの身体のことを自分で決める権利を取り上げたいのです。結婚の平等性を覆そうとする共和党員すらいます。平等な結婚がアメリカの歴史における、公民権に関する最大の偉業の1つであるのにも関わらずです。
大統領として、私は民主党が成し遂げた業績をさらに前進させていきます。オバマ大統領の成果を守り、その上に築き上げていきます。中流家庭の収入を増大させ、大学の学費を手が届く範囲に抑え、学生ローンの過重な負担を軽減し、LGBT当事者のアメリカ人を差別から守り、女性のヘルスケアや生殖の選択を守り、アメリカを国内外の脅威から安全に守ります。そしてAffordable Care Actは絶対に廃止させません。
