マレーシアのクアラルンプール国際空港で2月13日、北朝鮮の金正日委員長の異母兄・金正男氏が死亡した。スター・オンラインは15日、正男氏に薬品をかけて逃走した2人の女のうち、1人とみられる画像を報じた。
画像は、空港の防犯カメラに写っていた映像を拡大している。胸に「LOL」（日本の「www」に当たる）と書かれたTシャツにデニムのスカートをはいた、東洋人の女が写っている。
正男氏は国際空港第2ターミナルで「出発ロビーで2人の女に後ろから頭を押さえられ、顔に薬品のような液体をかけられた」と訴えた。2人の女はタクシーで逃走したという。
現地紙の「東方日報」は警察当局者の話として、2人の女がベトナム人だと述べ「ある国に正男氏暗殺のために雇われた」との見方を示した。報道によれば、2人の女が乗ったタクシーの運転手は13日に逮捕されたという。
一方で日本テレビなど日本メディアは、複数の日本政府関係者の情報として、金正男氏を殺害したとみられる女2人がすでに死亡しており、別の工作員に殺害されたのではないかという情報を伝えた。

現地紙「東方日報」は15日、警察が女2人のうち1人を逮捕したと伝えた。さらに男4人、女1人が関わっており、行方を追っているという。
