芸能人のものまねメイクで知られるタレントのざわちんが1月13日、歌手のGACKTをまねたメイクを公式ブログで発表したが、ネット上で評判が伝えられると、GACKT本人も自身のInstagramで反応した。

ざわちんは「2017年最初のものまねメイク」として、GACKTのものまねに挑戦。13日にブログ上でメイクを公開すると、「クオリティ高いですね」「GACKTさん本人かと思いました」など沢山のコメントが寄せられた。
これにGACKTが15日、自身の公式Instagramで反応。「うーん、似てるのかなぁ、、、？と思い鏡を見てみた。二重の幅が目じりまで均等に伸びて、もう少し目じりを上げる、眉尻はもう少し下にとがらせて、あとは気合のGACKTビームを目から発射すればもっと似るのかも」と、メイク法をアドバイスした。
その上でGACKTは、「他人なのにすごいことだ。。。ざわちん、恐るべし！」と、ものまねメイクを称えた。
これを受けてざわちんも1月15日、ブログを更新。「本当にありがとうございます」と感謝のメッセージを記した。その上で、「気合のGACKTさんビームが出せるようになったら、またGACKTさん風ものまねメークにチャレンジしてみたいと思います」と再挑戦を誓った。
