シリア第2の都市アレッポで、シリア政府軍の空爆により、子供を含む民間人15人が死亡した。BBCなどが報じた。
国連の報告によると、アレッポ市内にある3つの病院も3時間にわたって空爆を受けた。標的となった病院の1つは市内でも数少ない小児科で、医師たちが赤ちゃんたちを保育器から避難させざるを得なかったという。

イギリスに拠点を置くシリア人権監視団によると、シリア政府軍は爆発物を詰め込んだ「たる爆弾」を使用し、子供2人を含む5人が死亡した。
アレッポでは5日にも、シリア政府軍による数十回の空爆で民間人16人が死亡している。
シリア内戦をめぐってはアメリカとロシアの間で2月に停戦合意したものの、アレッポ周辺ではほとんど守られていない。停戦合意の対象に過激派組織IS(イスラム国)やアルカイダ系武装勢力「ヌスラ戦線」が含まれていないことも戦闘継続の原因と見られる。4日には米ロ間で改めて戦闘停止で合意したものの、民間人の犠牲者は後を絶たない状況だ。
