カナダで首都オタワで10月22日にあった銃撃事件で、カナダ紙Globe and Mailがインターネット上に動画を掲載した。国会議事堂内で警官が身をかがめながら石造りの廊下を進むと、大きな銃声が何度も付近に響く様子が写っている。
事件では、銃を持った男が戦没者慰霊碑を警備中の兵士を射殺した後、近くの国会議事堂に侵入して銃を乱射した。地元メディアなどによると、発砲したのはカナダ国籍のマイケル・ゼハフ・ビボー容疑者（32）とされ、警察に射殺された。
また、下に掲載した動画は、ビボー容疑者とみられる男が戦没者慰霊碑で兵士を射殺した直後に車に乗り込む様子を捕らえたもの。匿名でCBSニュースに寄せられらもので、黒い服と白いスカーフを身に着けた男が、ナンバープレートを取り外した乗用車に乗り込む様子が写されている。
