デンマークで銃撃、4人死傷 ムハンマド風刺画家が標的か

デンマークの首都コペンハーゲンで2月14日、表現の自由をテーマにした集会の会場で男が銃を乱射し、出席していた男性1人が死亡、警察官3人が怪我をした。男は現場から逃走し、デンマークの警察が行方を追っている。

この集会を企画したのは、2007年にイスラム教の預言者ムハンマドの風刺画を描いて非難を浴びたスウェーデン人の風刺画家ラルス・ヴィルクス氏で、1月8日に風刺週刊紙「シャルリー・エブド」の銃撃事件が発生したフランスのフランソワ・ジムレー駐デンマーク大使も参加していた。

部屋の中でまだ生きている。

デンマークのテレビ局「TV2」は、会場となった「Krudttoenden cafe」には、およそ30発の弾痕が残っているという。

デンマークの警察は当初2人の容疑者を追跡していると述べていたが、14日夜、容疑者とみられる男1人の写真を公開した。これは逃走用の車が置いてあった場所近くに設置された監視カメラがとらえたもので、この車は後に乗り捨てられた。

警察の発表によると、犠牲者は40歳の男性という。

この日の集会は、「芸術、神への冒瀆、そして言論の自由」と名付けられていた。

フランスのジムレー大使はAFP通信に対し、襲撃した男は風刺画家を殺害した「シャルリー・エブド」襲撃犯と「同じ意図」を持っていたとし、事件当時、次のように述べた。

「彼らは会場の外から我々に向かって発砲した。『シャルリー・エブド』の時と同じ意図を持っていた。しかし会場の中に入り込むことはできなかった。

直感的に、少なくとも50発の銃撃があった。現場にいた警察は200発だと言っている」

犯行現場に非常線を張る警官

「銃弾はドアを貫通し、集会の参加者はみんな床に伏せた。我々は何とかして他の部屋に逃げたが、今は部屋の中にいるが、依然として危険だ」

「襲撃犯は捕まっていないが、彼らは確実に付近にいるようだ」

主催者の1人、「ラルス・ヴィルクス委員会」のヘレ・メレテ・ブリックス氏は、風刺画家のヴィルクス氏は会場にいたが怪我はなかったと述べた。ヴィルクス氏がデンマークに滞在中は、警察の警護を受けている。

「覆面の男が走りながら通り過ぎて行くのを見ました」とブリックス氏は述べた。「複数の警察官が怪我をしました。これはヴィルク氏を狙った襲撃だとはっきりわかりました」

もう一人の主催者ニールス・イバール・ラーセン氏はデンマークのテレビ局に対して「何者かが自動小銃で発泡し、誰かが叫び声を上げました。警察は発砲している場所に戻り、私は台の後ろに隠れました。現実離れした、映画のシーンのようでした」と述べた。

ヴィルクス氏は殺害された「シャルリー・エブド」の風刺画家ステファン・シャルボニエ氏と同じくテロリストの殺人リストに加わっているという。

テロリズムの専門家マグヌス・レインストーム氏によると、ヴィルクス氏は裏口から避難したという。

ラルス・ヴィルクス氏はPETの職員によって裏口から避難した。怪我はない。未確認の情報によると、警察が銃撃を受けて怪我をした。およそ30発ほど発砲があった。

ラーセン氏はTV2の取材に対して、2人のけが人を見たと述べた。

ヴィルクス氏は2007年にムハンマドを犬のように描写した風刺画を発表し、これまでも襲撃が計画されたり殺人予告の脅迫を受けたりしていた。

2014年にはヴィルクス氏を殺害を計画したとしてアメリカのペンシルバニア在住の女性が懲役10年の刑を受けた。2010年には2人の兄弟がスウェーデン南部にあるヴィルク氏の邸宅に放火しようとし、放火未遂の罪で収監された。

1月7日にイスラム過激派の武装集団が「シャルリー・エブド」を襲撃し、12人を殺害した事件が発生した時、ヴィルクス氏は、警備上の懸念から自分を講演などに招待する団体が少なくなったと述べた。

ヴィルクス氏はまた、彼を警護するボディガードを派遣しているスウェーデンの特別警備隊「SAPO」が、警備レベルを引き上げるだろうと述べた。

「今回の事件で、私たちはこれまでよりもさらにさまざまなレベルで恐怖心を掻き立てられることになった」とヴィルク氏は述べた。「『シャルリー・エブド』は小さなオアシスだ。今回の事件みたいなことをあえてやろうとする人間は少数派だ」

ヴィルクス氏の公式サイト「larsvilks.com」によると、今回の集会は「悪魔の詩」の作者サルマン・ラシュディ氏にイランの最高指導者ホメイニ師(当時)から死刑宣告が発せられた日に合わせて開催された。ヴィルク氏とともに、フェミニストたちの抗議グループ「Femen」のインナ・チェフチェンコ氏も出席する予定だった。

さらに、「ラルス・ヴィルクス委員会」は2014年10月、「シャルリー・エブド」に対して風刺画家と言論の自由を支持するために設立された「自由賞」を授与していた。
