【マレーシア航空機撃墜】オランダ外相、遺体の扱いを批判「引きずり回されている」

オランダのフランス・ティマーマンス外相は、7月17日にウクライナ東部で墜落したマレーシア航空機の現場で乗客・乗員の遺体が「引きずり回されている」と述べ、遺体が適切に収容されていないことを批判した。

オランダのフランス・ティマーマンス外相は、7月17日にウクライナ東部で墜落したマレーシア航空機の現場で乗客・乗員の遺体が「引きずり回されている」と述べ、遺体が適切に収容されていないことを批判した。ハフィントンポストUK版が報じた。

今回の墜落で命を失った乗客・乗員298人の大半がオランダ人であった。

ドネツク州のグラボボの墜落現場では、親ロシア派が38の遺体を持ち出したという気がかりな情報もある。遺体から現金やクレジットカードなどの貴重品を盗み、墜落の証拠を破壊、隠蔽しようとしているという。

これまで3ヵ月間にわたってウクライナと親ロシア派の紛争を監視してきた欧州安全保障協力機構(OSCE)の査察団が墜落現場に派遣されたものの、武装集団によって進路を妨害されていると伝えられている。

オランダのティマーマンス外相はウクライナのペトロ・ポロシェンコ大統領と会談し、「現場で遺体が引きずり回されているという情報に、オランダ国民は激怒している」と述べた。

「我々は本日、現場で遺体が引きずり回され、適切に取り扱われていないているというニュースを知って非常にショックを受けている。オランダではショックが尾を引いている。大統領にお願いしたい。私たちを助けて欲しい。私たちの国民を返して欲しい」

マレーシア航空は、墜落機に搭乗していた乗客乗員の国籍をすべて公表した。

298人の半数以上にあたる193人がオランダ人で、そのうちの1人はオランダとアメリカの二重国籍である。

43人がマレーシア人で、15人の乗員と、2人の幼児が含まれている。

墜落から3日が経過し、現場の遺体の多くは機体の残骸の間にばら撒かれた状態のままだ。

記者は、親ロシア派が墜落現場を支配している状況を「言葉にならない」と表現し、夏の日差しと度重なる雨にさらされている遺体は腐敗と膨張が進んでいるという。

遺体の収容が困難を極めている状況の中、遺族はウクライナの現場へ渡航されることをも許されず、心をかき乱されるようなニュースで状況を知るのみで、心痛が重なるばかりだ。

墜落現場が戦闘地域のまっただ中に位置し、改めてウクライナが遠い場所で、空爆にさらされていることが浮き彫りになった。

グラボヴォの墜落現場で19日、1人の乗客の遺体が航空機の座席に固定されたまま、ズポンに裸足の状態のままだという。

もう1人の遺体は、青い花畑に埋もれ、おもちゃや本、靴などが散乱している中、仰向けで横たわったままだ。

イギリスのハモンド外相は、政府が犠牲者の尊厳と尊敬を最優先すると述べた。

「私たちが今最も重視しているのは墜落現場の保全であり、そのために原因と犯人を特定する国際的査察団がある。彼らを公正に派遣し、尊厳と尊敬をもって犠牲者の遺体を適切に取り扱えるようにする」

ハモンド外相はさらに、「ロシアや西欧に限らず、国際社会全体で査察団が墜落現場に派遣できるように働きかけることで真相究明につながる」とも述べた。
