卓球女子の福原愛さん（28）が8月27日、自身のTwitterアカウントで妊娠中の様子を投稿した。
6月に妊娠を発表した福原さん。
大きくなってきたお腹の上に食べ物を乗せて、「NewTable（¯﹃¯）」とツイートした。
ツイートには「お腹大きくなってきましたね」、「安産をお祈りします」などの激励の声が相次いだ。
元体操選手の田中理恵（@Rie17mamumu）さんが「お腹またまた大きくなってるー(^ ^)」とコメントすると、福原さんは「重心が変わって転びやすくなってきたよ(@￣ρ￣@)」と応じた。

福原さんは、2016年9月に卓球選手で台湾代表の江宏傑さん（こう・こうけつ）と結婚。
2017年1月1日、台湾・台北市内のホテルで結婚披露宴を開いた。
また、2月5日には、東京ディズニーリゾートで結婚披露宴を開き、多くのアスリートたちが挙式写真をSNSに投稿して話題となった。
妊娠を発表したのは、6月29日。
自身のブログで「小さな命が私たちのもとに来てくれたことをとても嬉しく思います」と喜びをのぞかせていた。
