ドイツの航空会社ジャーマンウイングスの旅客機墜落事故で、事故現場となったフランス・アルプスの山岳地帯では、軍や消防などが約600人態勢で捜索活動をしている。ただ、標高1500mの岩場で、ヘリコプターでたどり着くほかはなく、捜索は難航しているとみられる。
現場上空から写された写真には、飛行機の残骸とみられる破片のほか、乗客の手荷物のような赤やピンクの遺留物も散乱している様子がわかる。
