マルセイユ検察当局は26日、ドイツ機墜落事故で副操縦士(28)が故意に墜落させた可能性を指摘した。

同当局によると、機長がコックピットを離れた後、ドイツ人のアンドレアス・ルビッツ副操縦士が、コックピットのドアを開けることを拒否、降下ボタンを作動させた可能性があるとした。

記者会見で語った。 同副操縦士は「テロリスト」として知られていなかったといい、「テロ行為」だったと考える根拠はないとした。

墜落の直前には、乗客の悲鳴をうかがわせる音声が記録されていたという。

記者会見に先立ち、ドイツの州検察当局は、墜落時にコックピットにいたのは操縦士1人だけだったと確認した。

同社などによると、コックピットのドアは暗証コードを使って開けることができるが、コックピット内からブロックすることも可能という。

ルフトハンザはまた、同副操縦士が6年前、数カ月間訓練を休んだが、飛行に必要なすべての検査に合格したと明らかにした。

カールステン・シュポア最高経営責任者(CEO)は、こうしたことは特異でないと説明。ただ、乗員の採用は非常に慎重に進めており、心理面の審査を受けさせていると強調した。

同氏はまた、「どのような安全規制であれ、条件をいくら高く設定しても、実際にわれわれの基準は信じられないほど高水準だが、こうした事故が発生する可能性を排除する方法はない」とも述べた。
