7月12日、主に近畿から関東甲信地方にかけて、広い範囲で気温が30度以上の厳しい暑さとなっている。35度を超える地域もあると見られ、気象庁は熱中症に十分注意するよう呼びかけている。
7月12日の日中の最高気温（℃）
気象庁によると、12日に観測された各地の最高気温は、午後2時現在、群馬県館林市で36.0度、埼玉県熊谷市と群馬県伊勢崎市で35.3度、群馬県前橋市で35.1度などとなっている。
このあとも高温になるところが多いと見られ、気象庁は高温注意報を出し、こまめに水分補給をするなどして熱中症に注意するよう呼びかけている。

・京都府京都 35度（午後7時頃まで）
・兵庫県豊岡 35度（午後5時頃まで）
