ＡＣミランの日本代表ＦＷ本田圭佑（２８）がラツィオとの開幕戦でいきなりゴールを決めた。３トップの右ウイングでスタメン出場。前半７分にイタリア代表ＦＷエルシャーラウィのパスを右足で蹴り込んだ。昨季からのセリエＡ通算２得点目が、大きな大きな先制点。幸先よいスタートを切った。

本田は2014年1月にCSKAモスクワからACミランへ移籍。6月のワールドカップ・ブラジル大会で日本代表としてフル出場し、8月28日にはアギーレ新体制となった日本代表に引き続き選ばれた。
