香港デモ、道路封鎖をデモ隊側が一部解除 「活動はやめず」

香港行政長官選挙の制度改革をめぐる民主派デモが1週間以上にわたって続く香港では5日遅くまでに、一部で道路の封鎖が解除された。デモ隊側が香港当局による強制排除を懸念した。

香港政府は、平日に戻る6日に企業や学校、政府機関の活動を再開させるため、デモ隊の強制排除も辞さないとの姿勢を示していた。

親中派とデモ隊が最近衝突した九龍地区の繁華街、旺角(モンコック)では、一部のデモ参加者が現場から離れた。

ただ、数百人超の参加者はなおとどまっている。その中の1人、レスター・リョン氏(25)は「警察による強制排除があるかもしれないが、デモ活動を支援するために来た。人数が多ければ多いほど、警察も排除しづらくなる」と話した。

香港島の金鐘(アドミラルティ)にある行政長官弁公室(官邸)の前でも一部の封鎖が解除されたものの、5日午後遅くまでにロイター記者が確認したところでは、約4000人の参加者は依然として金鐘に集結している。

民主派デモにより売り上げや業務に支障が出ていた企業や店舗経営者、タクシードライバーからは占拠活動を非難する声も出ていた。

ただ、民主派の学生団体リーダーは5日遅くの記者会見で、デモ活動をやめないと宣言。行き詰まりの打開に向けた政府との正式対話については何も決まっていないと明らかにした。
