香港デモ、警察が強制排除 学生団体のリーダー2人も逮捕

香港の警察当局は26日、約2カ月にわたって民主派がデモを続けてきた九竜地区の繁華街、旺角(モンコック)に設置されたバリケードやテントを撤去し、デモ参加者も強制排除した。

[香港 26日 ロイター] - 香港の警察当局は26日、約2カ月にわたって民主派がデモを続けてきた九竜地区の繁華街、旺角(モンコック)に設置されたバリケードやテントを撤去し、デモ参加者も強制排除した。

警察はまた、デモに参加している学生団体を率いる黄之鋒(ジョシュア・ウォン)さんと岑敖暉(レスター・シャム)さんを逮捕した。

ロイター関係者が目撃したところによると、旺角の幹線道「ネイザンロード」を占拠しているデモ参加者と機動隊の間で小競り合いがあったという。

ただ、激しい衝突には発展しておらず、9月末からデモ隊に封鎖されている地区でも、通行は再開。警察の撤去作業は3時間超にわたって行われた。

ネイザンロードでは先に、裁判所の占拠禁止令を受けて執行官らがデモ隊に対して撤退するよう警告し、バリケード撤去を開始していた。目撃者によると、執行官に抵抗した複数のデモ参加者は警察に連行された。ロイター関係者はシャムさんが警察に連行されるのを目撃しており、学生団体「スカラリズム」はフェイスブック上で、ウォンさんが法廷侮辱の容疑で逮捕されたと明らかにした。

警察は前夜に旺角でデモ参加者80人を逮捕している。警察がデモ隊の他の拠点でも強制排除に踏み切るかどうかは明らかではない。
