【香港デモ】九竜地区で民主派バリケードの撤去開始

香港当局は25日、裁判所の占拠禁止令を執行するため、九竜地区の繁華街、旺角(モンコック)地区に民主派が設置していたバリケードの撤去を開始した。 デモ参加者はほとんど抵抗していない。 2カ月前に始まった大規模デモでは、香港中心部の金鐘(アドミラリティ)地区が最大拠点となっているが、旺角でもこれまでデモ隊と当局の間で激しい衝突がみられた。

[香港 25日 ロイター] - 香港当局は25日、裁判所の占拠禁止令を執行するため、九竜地区の繁華街、旺角(モンコック)地区に民主派が設置していたバリケードの撤去を開始した。

デモ参加者はほとんど抵抗していない。

2カ月前に始まった大規模デモでは、香港中心部の金鐘(アドミラリティ)地区が最大拠点となっているが、旺角でもこれまでデモ隊と当局の間で激しい衝突がみられた。

この日は数百人の警察が警備するなか、当局はアーガイルストリートのバリケードを撤去。デモ隊はすでにテントを取り除いている。

裁判所の占拠禁止命令は、バス会社が要請したもの。同社は、道路占拠で業務に支障が出ていると主張した。

梁振英行政長官は、デモ参加者らに対し、撤退するよう促したが、数百人規模のデモ隊は近くのネイザンロードに居座っている。現地メディアによると、ネイザンロードの一部でも今週中にバリケードが撤去される見通しだという。
