イラン大統領選、現職のロウハニ氏が再選 保守穏健派として核合意は継続へ

イラン大統領選は5月20日、開票が行われ、保守穏健派で現職のハサン・ロウハニ氏が再選された。アルジャジーラなどが報じた。

反米で保守強硬派のエブラヒム・ライシ氏との事実上の一騎打ちとなった今回の大統領選。アブドルレザ・ラフマニファズリ内相が、最終結果は「総投票数はおよそ4120万。ロウハニ氏が57%の得票率で約2355万票、ライシ氏が39%の得票率で約1579万票を獲得した」と発表した。

投票率は73.1%で、2013年の前回大統領選の72.7%より上回った。

BBCによると、ロウハニ氏は穏健な公約を掲げ、開放政策を取ると主張。2015年に成立したイラン核開発をめぐる6カ国との合意を継続していく。

ロウハニ氏は1948年11月13日、イラン・セムナーン州生まれ。テヘラン大学に入学後、イギリスのグラスゴー・カレドニアン大学に留学し、博士号を取得した。1979年のイラン革命では、近代化、西欧化を進める皇帝モハンマド・レザー・シャー・パフラヴィーに反対する革命闘争に従事した。

1980年にイラン議会のメンバーに選出され、イラン・イラク戦争時は、高等国防委員会委員、イラン空軍司令官、イラン国軍副司令官を歴任。1989〜2005年には国家安全保障最高評議会書記、2003〜05年には最高安全保障委員会事務局長として核交渉責任者を務めた。

2013年6月のイラン大統領選挙に立候補して当選し、8月に第7代イラン大統領に就任した。
