イラン、初の「女性副大統領」誕生へ

「Fars News Agency」が8月12日(現地時間)に伝えたところによると、8月3日にイランの大統領に就任したハサン・ロウハニ氏は、新内閣の副大統領として女性を指名した。

「Fars News Agency」が8月12日(現地時間)に伝えたところによると、8月3日にイランの大統領に就任したハサン・ロウハニ氏は、新内閣の副大統領として女性を指名した。

この指名が議会で承認されれば、エルハム・アミンザーデ氏は法律担当副大臣を務めることになる。

記事によると、ロウハニ大統領は選任の理由として、アミンザーデ氏の「学術的な能力や司法面での適性、法分野における経験と高い道徳的資質」を挙げたという。

テヘラン大学教授であるアミンザーデ氏に関してはほとんど知られていない。ブルームバーグの記事によると、グラスゴー大学で国際法の博士号を取得しており、以前にイラン議会の議員を務めたことがあるという。

イラン議会は、ロウハニ大統領が提出した閣僚案の採決を14日に行うと見られている。

ロウハニ大統領は、6月に行われた選挙で大きな勝利を収めた後、アフマディーネジャード前大統領の後任となった。

核問題交渉責任者等を務めたことがあるロウハニ大統領とその新内閣には、経済に重点を置き、西側諸国との融和を進める方向をとることが期待されている。

アフマディーネジャード大統領政権下の2009年、婦人科医のマルジェ・バヒドダストジェルディ氏が、イスラム革命後初の女性閣僚として保健相に承認されている。なお、イラン議会の女性議員率は2.8%とされる(世界平均は19.3%、日本は11.3%。2011年1月現在)。
