イラクのアディラ・フサイン保健相は5月28日、北部の都市ティクリート近郊の集団墓地でイラク兵とみられる遺体470体を発掘したと明らかにした。過激派組織ISに虐殺されたとみられる。

イラクのアディラ・フサイン保健相は5月28日、北部の都市ティクリート近郊の集団墓地でイラク兵とみられる遺体470体を掘り出したと明らかにした。過激派組織IS(イスラム国)に虐殺されたとみられる。アルジャジーラなどが報じた。

BBCによると、ISは2014年6月にティクリートを制圧した際に、イラク政府軍の兵士およそ1700人を虐殺したとされている。いくつかの遺体はティグリス川に流され、残りは集団墓地に埋められた。

イラク政府軍は2015年3月末にティクリートを奪還し、4月から赤十字国際委員会(ICRC)とともにイラク兵の遺体の捜索と収容を行っている。
