エルサレムにガザからロケット弾 対立激化、海からはハマス戦闘員が上陸

パレスチナ自治区ガザ地区を実効支配するイスラム原理主義組織ハマスは7月8日夜、イスラエルのエルサレムや商業都市テルアビブ、北部ハイファなどにロケット弾を撃ち込んだ。イスラエルとハマスとの戦闘が激しくなっている。

パレスチナ自治区ガザ地区を実効支配するイスラム原理主義組織ハマスは7月8日夜、イスラエルのエルサレムや商業都市テルアビブ、北部ハイファなどにロケット弾を撃ち込んだ。イスラエル側に負傷者はいないもよう。イスラエルのメディアの報道として、時事ドットコムなどが伝えた。イスラエルとハマスとの戦闘が激しくなっている。

ハマスの軍事部門カッサム隊は、テルアビブに4発、ハイファに1発、エルサレムに4発を発射したと主張。エルサレム中心部ではロケット弾飛来を警告するサイレンがしばらく鳴り響いた後、爆発音が数回聞こえた。イスラエル軍によると、国内の至る所でサイレンが鳴り響いた。

一方、AFP通信によると、ハマスの戦闘員4人が海を渡ってイスラエル南部の海岸に上陸し、軍基地を襲撃した。イスラエル軍は全員殺害したという。

イスラエルとハマスとの対立は、6月末にイスラエル人の少年3人が殺された事件をきっかけに激化した。7月初めにはパレスチナ人の少年が殺害される事件も発生、3人の殺害に対する報復との見方が強い。さらにイスラエルは8日から、ガザへの空爆を強化する軍事作戦を展開している。

イスラエル軍は8日夜もガザ地区に対する空爆や海軍による砲撃を続け、中東の衛星テレビ、アルジャジーラによると、同日のパレスチナ人の死者は子供5人を含む計25人、負傷者は100人以上となった。空爆は150カ所以上に上った。

イスラエルのネタニヤフ首相は軍事作戦拡大を軍に命じたと発表。ハマスも攻撃を強化するとの声明を出し、報復合戦のエスカレートは必至だ。

一方、アメリカ政府は、イスラエルのガザ空爆を支持する考えを示した。

アメリカ国務省のサキ報道官は、8日の記者会見で、「どの国であろうと、市民を標的にしたロケット弾による攻撃を認めるわけにはいかず、イスラエルが自国を守る権利を支持する」と述べ、イスラエルによるガザ地区への空爆は、自国を防衛するために必要な措置だとして支持する考えを示しました。
