安倍晋三首相は11月1日、中国の李克強首相、韓国の朴槿恵大統領とソウルの大統領官邸で会談した。日中韓3カ国による首脳会談は、2012年5月以来、約3年半ぶり。

47NEWSによると、3氏は「歴史を直視し、未来に向かって進む精神」で、地域の安全と平和に向け協力していくことで合意。3カ国首脳会談を定例化させ、2016年には日本で開催することでも一致した。

今回の会談の開催について、NHKニュースは、中国には「日米韓の連携にくさびを打ち込もうという思惑がうかがえる」と分析。韓国についても「経済的な結びつきが強い中国との関係強化を図るとともに、アメリカから促されていた日韓関係の改善に取り組む姿勢を印象づけたい考え」と紹介した。

■海外メディアはどう報じた?

この会談について、アメリカのニューヨーク・タイムズは3カ国の首脳が「まずは会談した」として領土問題などがあるなかで「進歩があった」と評価。一方で、安倍首相と朴大統領の間には深い亀裂があることも説明。韓国側が安倍首相のための祝宴を開くことを「スルーした」と表現している。

イギリスのBBCは「問題の多い関係が“改善された”」と報じているが、中国と韓国が、日本に対して「第2次世界大戦の償いを十分に行っていない」と述べたことも付記した。

朝鮮日報は会談について「北朝鮮の非核化に取り組む」との見出しの記事で報じたが、経済連携についても大きく内容を割いた。「新しい成長動力を創出するために、3カ国の協力を強化する」などという朴大統領の発言や、安倍首相の「3カ国は、経済的にも非常に緊密な関係があり、大きな可能性を持っている。日中韓FTA(自由貿易協定)に関しても、交渉を加速することで意見が一致した」という発言を紹介した。

聯合ニュースは3首脳がそれぞれどのような発言を行ったかを報じている。朴大統領についてはFTA交渉に関する発言や北朝鮮の問題についての発言を取り上げているが、李首相については、歴史問題や領土問題に関する発言を、安倍首相については、北朝鮮の拉致問題や核問題についての発言を中心に紹介した。
