個性派俳優として知られるアメリカのジョニー・デップが、婚約者の女優アンバー・ハードと2月2日、ロサンゼルスの自宅で結婚した。アメリカの芸能ゴシップ誌「ピープル」が報じた。
同誌によると、結婚式は2月上旬にデップが所有するバハマ諸島の島で行われるという。ジョニー・デップは51歳で、28歳のアンバー・ハードとは23歳差となる。
2人は2011年に、映画「ラム・ダイアリー」での共演がきっかけで知り合い、交際がスタートした。2012年末に婚約した。ジョニー・デップは事実婚のパートナーだったフランス人の歌手で女優のバネッサ・パラディと、2012年に別れている。
