五輪＝スノーボード男子スロープスタイル、角野が8位入賞
ソチ冬季五輪は８日、新種目のスノーボード男子スロープスタイル決勝を行い、日本から唯一出場した角野友基（１７）が８位入賞を果たした。
角野は１回目で５３．００点、２回目は７５．７５点をマークした。
１回目に９３．５０点を記録したセージ・コッツェンバーグ（米国）が優勝。今大会の金メダル第１号となった。［８日 ロイター］
