これまで散々ブーイングを浴びせられてきたサポーターに向かい、両手の親指で背中の１０番を差し示して、どうだのポーズ。「今までだったら外す流れだったが、まぁ打ってみようかなという感じで。入るときは入る」。今季は８月１７日のイタリア杯ペルージャ戦で１点決めていたが、セリエＡでは、開幕から７戦６発と量産態勢だった昨季、１４年１０月１９日ベローナ戦以来のゴール。約１年４カ月、実に４８３日ぶりの得点だった。
