自民党内のリベラル系議員による勉強会が、漫画家の小林よしのり氏を講師に招いて会合を6月25日に開く予定だったが、「運営上の都合」により急きょ中止になった。これに対し、小林よしのり氏は自身のブログで「多様な意見は許されない」「全体主義の空気が蔓延している」と自民党を激しく批判した。
朝日新聞デジタルによると中止になったのは、党内ハト派と言われる「宏池会」（岸田派）の武井俊輔、無派閥の石崎徹両衆院議員らが立ち上げた「過去を学び『分厚い保守政治』を目指す若手議員の会」だ。25日、安倍政権に批判的な漫画家の小林よしのり氏を招いて5回目の会合を開く予定だったが、2日前に急きょ中止が発表された。
小林氏は、自衛隊を軍隊と位置づけるべきだとの立場から、改憲を主張する保守派の論客だ。憲法の解釈を変更して集団的自衛権を使えるようにした安倍晋三首相に批判的な立場だ。
複数の議員によると今月中旬、党幹部の一人が「分厚い保守政治の会」のメンバーに対し、「安全保障関連法案への審議に影響がある」として法案成立まで会合を開かないよう求めたという。別の党幹部は「小林氏を呼べば、政権批判をされ、憲法学者が法案を違憲だと指摘した二の舞いになる」と打ち明ける。

「安全保障関連法案への審議に影響がある」として法案成立まで会合を開かないよう求められたということだが、同じ25日には百田尚樹氏ら安倍政権に考え方が近い文化人の勉強会「文化芸術懇話会」が開かれていた。
■「安倍派でなければ議員でなし」という同調圧力
小林よしのり氏は自身のブログで「全体主義の空気が蔓延している」と自民党に対して警鐘を鳴らしている。
自民党内にはもう多様な意見は許されない

小林よしのりを呼ぶと、「反安倍」の烙印が押されると
言われ、勉強会を開いても一人も来ないという恐れも
あったのかもしれない。
いつか、あれが独裁政治の兆候だったと
言われる日が来るかもしれない。
