11月1日午前、韓国の首都ソウルの最高検察庁の正門にショベルカーが突っ込んだ。庁舎入り口の一部や案内板などを壊し、止めに入った警備員が脇腹などに打撲傷を負った。朝日新聞デジタルなどが報じた。

運転していた男は公用建造物損壊などの疑いで逮捕された。時事ドットコムによると、朴槿恵(パク・クネ)大統領の親友で国政介入疑惑の中心人物、崔順実(チェ・スンシル)氏が「死に値する罪を犯した」と語ったという報道を聞いて「自分が死ぬのを手伝おうと思った」と供述しているという。
