【熊本地震】保険証、手元に無くても保険適用 一部負担金の考慮も

地震で保険証を紛失するなど手元に保険証がない人でも、医療機関を受診した際に保険が適用される。

4月14日に熊本で発生した地震を受け、厚生労働省は、地震によって保険証を紛失するなど手元に保険証がない人でも、医療機関を受診した際に保険が適用されるよう自治体や医療機関に周知した。氏名や生年月日、連絡先などを伝えれば、保険証がない場合でも受診できる。NHKニュースなどが報じた。

厚労省はまた、医療機関を受診した際に患者が支払う「一部負担金」についても、被災者の状況に応じて徴収猶予・減免を考慮するよう自治体や医療機関などに対し求めるという。
