韓国軍合同参謀本部によると、北朝鮮は6月22日午前、「ムスダン」と推定される中距離弾道ミサイルを2発、相次いで発射した。
ハフポスト韓国版によると、発射推定時刻は22日午前5時58分と午前8時05分ごろ。1発目は失敗した模様だが、2発目は約400km飛行し、日本海に落下した。
日本の防衛省は2発目について、高度1000kmに達したとしており「一定の機能が示されたのは、我が国の安全保障に対する深刻な懸念だ」と発表した。
