ハワイ名物のスパムおにぎり。旅の思い出として「絶対食べたい」とオススメされている人気メニューのひとつですが、自宅でも簡単に楽しむことが出来ます！日本のスーパーでもよく見かけるスパム缶ですが、どう使えばいいのかよく分からないという方も多いはず。今回は、アレンジ自在のスパムおむすびレシピをご紹介します。
ハワイのお惣菜屋さん風！スパムおにぎり
日本でも売られているスパムおにぎりですが、ハワイではその種類も実に豊富！お惣菜屋さんでは、たまご、梅風味、シソ、シーチキンなどの具材を使ったメニューを見かけます。シンプルなスパムおにぎりに加えて、本場流の味わいも楽しんでみるのがおすすめです。
定番シンプル「スパムおにぎり」
【材料（4人分）】
スパム......340g
白ご飯......茶碗3杯分
ごま油......適量
塩......お好みで
醤油......小さじ2杯
みりん......小さじ2杯
【作り方】
1．スパムを1cmほどの厚さで8等分に切ります。
2．油を引いたフライパンにスパムをのせて両面を焼きます。
焦げ目がついてきたら、醤油とみりんを加えて味付けします。
3．白ご飯で８つのおにぎりを作っておきます。スパムを乗せるので
長方形ににぎります。その際に塩水ではなく、手ひらにごま油を少量たらしておくと香ばしい風味が楽しめます。
4．おにぎりの上に焼いたスパムを乗せて、海苔をまけば完成です！
韓国のりを巻いても美味しく頂けます。
本場流に美味しくアレンジ
基本のスパムおにぎりが出来れば、もうアレンジは自由自在です。
ハワイのお惣菜屋さんでよく見るスパムおにぎりメニューが簡単に作れます！
・梅風味のスパムおにぎり
梅スパムおにぎりスパムとご飯の間に練り梅をはさめばOK。
「シソ」を加えてさっぱり度をアップさせるのもオススメです。色味も鮮やかになり見た目も良くなります。
・たまご焼きスパムおにぎり
ご飯とスパムの間に、たまご焼きを乗せるだけですが、程よくやさしい甘さが加わり絶品です。
・シーチキン＋スパムおにぎり
マヨネーズとシーチキンを混ぜて、スパムおにぎりに加えます。ポロポロと落ちて食べにくいので、事前のご飯をにぎる際に中身として仕込むのがポイントです。
・カッパ巻き風スパムおにぎり
薄切りしたキュウリをはさんでカッパ巻きのようなアレンジをすることも出来ます。さっぱりした後味になります。
世界唯一のスパムのお祭りも開催！
実はとっても簡単に作れるスパムおにぎり。5月3日（土）には世界で唯一のスパムのお祭り「スパムジャム」が開催されました。
歩行者天国となるカラカウア通りにハワイ人気のレストランブースがプロデュースした数々のスパム料理が並びます。日本でも馴染みある食品になりつつありますが、新たな魅力が発見できそうですね。
ハワイアンミュージックをBGMに、スパムおにぎりを頬張りながら、ハワイの思い出に浸るのもいいものです！たくさん作ってみんなで食べれば、思わず笑顔になってしまうこと間違いなしです。
