ドイツでは、ナチスの後継を自認する「ドイツ国家民主党」の活動を禁止すべく、再び連邦憲法裁判所へ申し立てが行われます。

ドイツ政府は、極右政党・ドイツ国家民主党の活動禁止を求めて、近日、連邦憲法裁判所に2度目となる申し立てを行う予定です。ドイツには過去にナチス政権を成立させてしまった反省から、民主主義・自由主義を否定する団体は非合法化とする「戦う民主主義」という制度が採用されています。

ドイツ国家民主党が掲げるイデオロギーはナチス政権のものと酷似しているとドイツ政府は主張しており、党の活動を非合法化しようと試みています。

2003年にも政府は同様の申し立てを行ったのですが、政府の証人がスパイであることが判明したため、申し立ては取り下げられてしまいました。

今回政府側は250ページにも及ぶ証拠資料を用意し、関係者も「スパイなどとは一切関係を持たない確かな証拠が用意できた。準備は万端だ」と意気込んでいます。
