「#BoycottStarbucks(スターバックスをボイコットしよう)」で始まった戦い。

スターバックスが1月29日に発表した「難民1万人を雇用する」という宣言をめぐり、ネット上ではトランプ政権の支持者と反対派の間で熾烈な戦いが繰り広げられている。

この騒動は、難民の入国を禁止する大統領令を受けてスターバックスのハワード・シュルツ最高経営責任者(CEO)が発表した対抗措置をきっかけに勃発した。

トランプ政権の支持者たちは「#BoycottStarbucks(スターバックスをボイコットしよう)」というハッシュタグを付けてツイートし、同社商品の不買を呼びかけた。

スターバックスのCEOが政治的な策略を押し付けてて腹立たしくない?#BoycottStarbucks

アメリカ人や退役軍人を1万人雇わないで、アンチアメリカのスターバックスは難民を1万人雇うと言っている。全ての愛国主義者に#BoycottStarbucksを呼びかける。

支持者たちの間で広がるこうした不買運動に、すぐにトランプ政権に反発する人々が反応を示した。

#BoycottStarbucksの運動、かなり面白いね。短い行列で美味しいコーヒーを買えるし、レイシストもいなくなるしね。

さらに、反トランプ派の人々は「#BoycottStarbucks」というハッシュタグに対抗し、「#DrinkStarbucksToFightBigotry(偏見と戦うためにスターバックスを飲もう)」というハッシュタグを広めている。
